1. In my hand I had a kingdom

In my hand I had yours..

2. Lucky for some, unlucky for others.

Fate kisses some, but others it smothers.

I watched you, a perfect hole

with a flimsy heart.

And dreams of paper planes

and pyramids...
I borrowed your smile for the weekend.

Made truth of big places in this small town.

And I no longer watched my footsteps
as I walked.

breathless

garden:

decayed by

thunderstorms,

reflecting

light in its

wildflowers

and wonder

in its clay floor
